Welcome to the 2025 Northwest Women's Open!
Eligibility and Handicap Requirements:
Entries are open to female professional and amateurs golfers. Amateur participants must have a USGA or RCA Handicap not exceeding 15.0 at the time of entry. There is no minimum age limit for the Championship.
Field Limit and entries:
The field will be limited to 60 players. Entrants may apply online at www.northwestwomensopen.com or by contacting Erin Szekely at 425-273-4948 or steps3@comcast.net.
Entry fees:
Professionals: $240.00. Amateurs: $210.00. (US Funds). Entry fees will include two rounds of tournament golf, one practice round, range balls, lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday, access to all extra games and the Pro-Am Banquet on Monday evening immediately following the conclusion of the Pro-Am. Entry Deadline: June 16, 2025.
Carts and Caddies:
Contestants and their caddies may use carts during the competition. Carts are available through the pro shop for $17.50 per person per day.
Prizes:
The purse for the championship will be dependent on entries and sponsorships. The Champion will receive a minimum of $2,000 and a Kusak crystal trophy. Should an amateur win the Championship, she will receive a $750 gift certificate and the Kusak crystal trophy. The low amateur for the Championship will receive a Kusak crystal trophy and $500 in gift certificates. Senior Purse Total $600: 1st Place $300, 2nd Place $200 3rd Place $100. (Open to participants 50 years of age by June 23, 2025) Half the field will be paid.
The champion (pro or am) will receive a free entry into the Arizona Women's Open, courtesy of Mike Brown of the Cactus Tour.
Pro-Am: All participating pros paid.
Closest to the Pin: there will be a closest to the pin prize awarded each day during the Championship and a $100 Leap of the Day prize for the most improved.
Sponsored Skins: There will be a sponsored skins game each day.
Amateurs:
WSGA Member Points awarded:
50 pts for Champion
25 pts for Runner Up
10 Points for Top 5
Accommodations: Limited housing available: Contact Sue Stevens @ 425-922-4048, skuney4@aol.com. Also, there are a variety of hotels available near the golf course on 320th Street, Federal Way.
Conditions: The Northwest Women's Open Championship committee reserves the right to alter any of the conditions and schedules herein. The Committee reserves the right to reject the entry of any applicant, at any time, for any reason. Any decision by the committee, in any matter, shall be final.

Pro-Am: One Professional and 3 Amateurs per team (amateur fee $200 per person). 1:00 pm Shotgun.
Sponsored Refreshments following the Pro-Am: All tournament participants are invited to enjoy refreshments at the conclusion of play of the Pro-Am.
Tuesday June 24, 2025
First round (18 holes) stroke play competition. Tee times will begin at 8:00 am. Players will be re-paired for the second round based on the first round gross scores. Low scores will tee off last on Wednesday.
Wednesday June 25, 2025
Second round (18 holes) stroke play competition. Tee times will begin at 7:30 am. Awards ceremony to follow completion of final round. Prizes will be based upon 36-hole gross scores.
